STALKER Solutions

The problem

I love the Stalker games universe and I back Ukrainian products. I badly wanted platinum — achievements only 0.2% of players have — which means I walked every corner of the map and squeezed 100% out of the game. To get there you need every achievement, including the hardest: “Scanning complete”, “Collector of Wonders”, and my arch-nemesis “Flash Drive Royale”.

Collecting every item for those achievements yourself, with no structured data, is a 500-hour job. If I build a map and a usable interface for myself, I can do it ten times faster. I also get the practice, publish on Reddit, and change the site from the feedback.

Problem 1

The game map — and how the items are hidden — is a real test of your patience and free time.

Problem 2

The guides that exist are a newspaper and spreadsheets. I think in systems and visually, so a map is easier.

Problem 3

Existing services are overloaded with visual noise, ads, and chrome. I would always pick a cleaner, clearer, simpler interface.

Opportunity

Ship a vibe product fast — one that keeps you inside the immersive universe. Publish it and see how it helps others. With a path to a game hub for the Stalker community.

The process

This is a product for myself and for stalkers, so I do not use every methodology I use on client SaaS.

Flow “pick an achievement”

  • The site meets you with a list of the hardest achievements.
  • “Show all” takes choice paralysis off the table.
  • UKR / ENG — better odds of feedback from a wider foreign community. I checked: English-language Reddit around Stalker is active and huge.

Flow “progress tracking”

  • Every collected item can be marked — artifact, flash drive, arch-artifact, limited non-stop (in progress).
  • Artifacts are grouped by the anomaly types where they can spawn.
  • If you have collected every fire artifact, fire anomalies stop being points of interest on the map.
  • THERE IS A WARNING ABOUT THE FLASH DRIVE: YOU CAN ONLY GET IT DURING A STORY MISSION — THIS RUINED PLATINUM FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE.

The interface

I picked a theme that sits with the grey and rust of the Zone. In places it is deliberately crooked, the way in-game Soviet utilitarian, ugly equipment often is.

How I work

About two weeks in Cursor. Public product: stalker.solutions.

The value is that I cut everything extra. Instead of articles and tables you get a familiar map and you mark what you collected. A mini dopamine farm plus platinum — if you last, of course.

Software for people the way you would make it for yourself.
